Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Welcome to Sip, a couples hydration app. By using Sip you agree to these terms. Please read them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Sip

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to enter into these terms. If you use Sip with a partner, each of you agrees to these terms individually.

Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Pairing with a partner

Sip lets you link with one partner using an invite code. Once linked, the two of you share a couple space — your name, photo, water logs, reactions, and progress become visible to your partner. Only invite someone you intend to share that information with.

Acceptable use

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — your photos, names, and messages. You grant us the limited permission needed to host and display that content so the app can function (for example, showing your couple photo to your partner). You're responsible for the content you share.

Our content

The Sip app, its design, artwork, and branding belong to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the app as intended.

Subscriptions and purchases

Sip Plus is required to create a couple and is purchased through the Apple App Store. Options are a monthly subscription and a one-time Lifetime purchase; one purchase unlocks Sip Plus for both partners. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.

The monthly subscription is auto-renewable: payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Purchases are processed by Apple and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat. Sip never receives or stores your payment card details. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.

Not medical advice

Sip is a general wellness and habit-building app. Hydration goals and suggestions are for general informational purposes only and are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional for guidance about your health.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sip at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Sip is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the U.S. state in which Sip's operator is based, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Sip evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
